Family Financial Planning

Are you interested in leaving a lasting legacy?

At Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh, we recognize that all children are entrusted to us by Hashem. It is our responsibility to foster the knowledge and skills so that our children will actualize their potential, establish and sustain Torah-observant families and contribute to their community and the world at large. An investment in their education is an investment in Jewish tomorrows.

Why make a legacy gift?

Planned giving provides another avenue for donors to support Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh in addition to immediate giving opportunities. Legacy Society members receive annual benefits of appreciation and long lasting recognition. In addition, a planned gift may have financial benefits for you.

The tax and legal benefits you receive will depend on your situation, and your financial, tax, and estate planning goals. In some cases, an estate gift will allow you to make a gift that is larger than the donations you make during your lifetime, or reduce or eliminate estate tax by decreasing the size of your taxable estate below the Estate Tax Exemption. You may start the conversation with our committee members.

Because benefits vary according to your individual circumstances, Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh strongly encourages you to consult with your attorney, tax advisor, or other estate planning professional before making a planned gift. By reviewing various options with your advisor, you can choose to make the gifts that best meet your immediate and future needs.

This information is offered to help you understand some of your options for making a charitable gift to Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh. Only a lawyer or tax professional can give you estate planning or tax advice.
