Girls High School

The girls high school focuses on developing our young women academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Academic Achievement
Our Judaic studies and general studies programs work in parallel to develop the whole child. The Judaic studies program provides instruction in the core content and skills areas of Tanach, halacha, Jewish history, and chassidus. The general studies program provides instruction in the core content areas of reading, math, science, and social studies. Our dedicated staff work to help our girls achieve excellence in both Judaic and general studies. The goal for our high school students is to become independent learners of Torah. Many high school Judaic classes are divided by skill rather than grade level, with an emphasis on guided chavrusa learning. In general studies, the high school program builds on the work from early and upper elementary, with the focus on preparation for college and careers. Our curricula include advanced courses through the use of novel study, upper level math, STEM, and exploration of world and US history.

Emotional Awareness
The girls high school recognizes the importance of developing students socially and emotionally. The school provides small classroom environment that allow students to build self-confidence and self-efficacy, and the dedicated staff focuses on helping girls grow as individuals within a cohesive group. Our high school feels like family. The year is filled with many after-school activities that promote unity, relaxation, and enrichment.

Spiritual Growth
In addition to providing foundational skills in the pursuance of a religious life, students are provided a nurturing space to grow as proud, Chasidic, Jewish women who take pride in their yiddishkeit and in their commitment to Torah and mitzvos. Our dedicated Judaic teachers provide personal, ethical examples and work to instill strong Judaic values in their classrooms, and offer in-school farbrengens and special programs. In addition, our two shluchos are always available to nurture and inspire. In all we do, we seek to create independent individuals who can fuse their Jewish heritage and identity with the modern world.
